After a hearty Hyatt breakfast our NYC itinerary today featured a trip up to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building (wow, those views, those heights and lovely marble walls); coffee kerb-side amidst Times Square action (noise, people, colours, lights, sirens – Piccadilly might seem dull now); retail therapy at Macy’s (pic of Mac makeup counter for my daughter Sarah, it’s her favourite), and for Mike at B&H Cameras (the worlds largest camera discount store) where he picked up a new tripod, and finally Central Park (bikes, acrobats, weirdos, bubble man, horses, fun fair, too many kids, not enough loos, buskers, statues, ponds and Terrapins).

Think we can tick all the New York tourist must-do boxes now!

We’d walked miles (again) so sat down and enjoyed a well deserved steak ‘n fries supper, washed down with some nice Brooklyn Lager.
