ABOUT OUR HONEYMOON(S)
Thank you for your wedding gifts
We are thrilled with the generous wedding gifts from friends and family. We enjoyed reading the lovely messages in your cards and will keep and treasure all of them as wedding keepsakes. Thank you for the contributions you've given us, in dollars and pounds, to spend on our USA Honeymoon travels.
Crete and the USA
We enjoyed a mini-honeymoon during the Easter break shortly after the wedding in Crete, during which, just like the wedding weekend, we enjoyed fabulous sunny weather! We are away from Friday 11th August until Sunday 10th September on our official USA Honeymoon. Our journey starts in New York City with an up-state tour finishing at Niagara Falls. We'll then fly to Yellowstone National Park, then to Portland area for good views of the magnificent Solar eclipse on 21st August. After that a West Coast road trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles, then inland to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Phew!!! We're very excited!
THE WEDDING VENUE
The White Swan
The wedding was held at the White Swan, a charming inn complete with beams and stone-flagged floors. The White Swan is just outside historic Arundel, 1.6 miles from Arundel Castle and 2.4 miles from Arundel Park and within easy reach of Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth and the local coastline.

A Wedding Weekend!
20 rooms were reserved and booked by our wedding guests and we all enjoyed breakfast together on Sunday morning.
THE WEDDING DAY
Itinerary
The schedule for the day was: 3.45pm Guests seated in the Arundel Suite, 4.00pm Wedding Ceremony, 4.30pm Drinks and official photographs, 6.00pm Speeches then cake cutting in the Sussex Suite followed by buffet, entertainment and party to midnight.
Buffet
The wedding buffet includes filo prawns, chicken satay and tomato, goats cheese and pesto mini tarts, which was followed by wedding cake, with rich fruit, victoria sponge and chocolate cake tiers!
Entertainment
Thank you to Just the Three of Us, an acceppella singing trio, who made the wedding feel extra special and filled the ceremony room with their lovely voices. During the celebrations Tony, close-magic magician, kept our guests entertained and added a wonderful touch of magic to the day. Kate's friends from the amazing Spring into Soul Choir started an evening of dancing and music, thank you, what a beautiful sound you made, led by the inspirational Siggi. Lovely friend, musician and fellow choir member, Mike Pailthorpe was our DJ, thank you, we wanted to dance to every song!
